Graduates of the Faculty of Health Sciences are trained and prepared to become future healthcare professionals with excellence in patient safety, occupational health and safety (OHS), emergency care, as well as maternal and neonatal emergencies, and are ready to compete in the global era.
Various competencies related to the scientific fields of each study program have been prepared, including curricula that are continuously updated in accordance with the curriculum issued by their respective associations. In addition, student competencies are supported by nationally standardized nursing and midwifery laboratory facilities and infrastructure that follow the guidelines of scientific associations such as AIPNI, AIPVIKI, and AIPKIND.
To enhance student competencies, the Faculty of Health Sciences also conducts the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) internally for final-year students. We provide training for courses that are our strengths, such as emergency care, OHS, patient safety, and nosocomial infection control. As part of the university’s support for final-year students, Horizon University Indonesia provides a Computer-Based Test (CBT) facility for the National Competency Examination (UKOM), allowing students to take the exam without having to leave Karawang.
Dalam rangka menyiapkan kompetensi mahasiswa untuk bisa bersaing di era global, maka Fakultas Ilmu kesehatan memberikan kemampuan berbahasa inggris dengan baik melalui Global Work English Programs (GWEP) sebanyak total 6-8 sks, serta kemampuan berbahasa Arab sebanyak 2 sks.
