  • D3 Midwifery

    DESCRIPTION
    The Diploma III Midwifery Program prepares students to become professional practicing midwives with the skills and competencies needed for routine midwifery services. The program is completed in six semesters or three years, and graduates earn the title Ahli Madya Kebidanan (A.Md.Keb). Students learn through a combination of classroom study, laboratory practice, and clinical experience focused on maternal, newborn, and family health. Classes are conducted using active learning, emphasizing practical skills, case discussions, and real healthcare situations. The program has also incorporated the Global Workplace English Program to support professional communication in healthcare settings. Students are trained to provide care during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, breastfeeding, family planning, and infant and toddler care under normal conditions. They also develop the ability to perform early detection and initial management of emergencies in line with standard operating procedures and professional ethics, preparing them to work effectively with families and communities.

  • S1 Midwifery

    Description
    Midwifery is a field of science and art that focuses on preparing for pregnancy, assisting childbirth, postpartum care and breastfeeding, the interpregnancy period and fertility regulation, climacteric and menopause, newborn and toddler care, human reproductive functions, as well as providing assistance or support to women, their families, and communities. Students will learn and develop the competencies of a care provider, including: providing essential care during pregnancy, childbirth and newborn care, postpartum care, family planning, and care for infants and toddlers in normal conditions; performing early detection and initial management of emergencies in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the professional code of ethics within healthcare settings.
