Beasiswa Sahabat Horizon is an internal scholarship program initiated by Horizon University Indonesia to support students from low-income families in continuing their higher education.

2. Horizon University 100% Scholarship
Horizon University Scholarship is a 100% scholarship program specifically awarded to students who not only academically outstanding, but also those who is outstanding in leadership skills, and are active in social advocacy.

3. KIP (Kartu Indonesia Pintar)
KIP (Kartu Indonesia Pintar) is a program from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek Dikti) aimed at supporting students with economic limitations but strong academic achievements to continue their studies in higher education.
Benefit
Receive UKT/SPP (tuition fee) assistance of Rp. 2,400,000 for STMIK and Rp. 4,000,000 for STIKes, along with a living allowance of Rp. 4,800,000 per semester.
Regulations
The economic eligibility requirements for KIP Kuliah Merdeka recipients are students who come from low-income or vulnerable-to-poverty families, proven by:
- Students who hold or possess the Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) for Secondary Education;
- Being listed in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) or receiving social assistance programs established by the Ministry of Social Affairs, such as:
- Bansos Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH);
- Bansos Penerima Bantuan Iuran Jaminan Kesehatan (PBI JK);
- Bansos Bantuan Pangan Non-Tunai (BPNT);
- Being categorized as low-income or vulnerable-to-poverty households up to a maximum of decile 3 in the Targeting Data for the Acceleration of Extreme Poverty Eradication (P3KE), issued by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs;
- Students from social welfare institutions/orphanages;
- If prospective recipients do not meet any of the four criteria above, they may still apply for KIP Kuliah Merdeka as long as they meet the low-income/vulnerable economic criteria proven by:
1. A combined gross parental/guardian income of no more than Rp4,000,000 per month, OR combined gross parental/guardian income divided by the number of family members not exceeding Rp750,000; and
2. Proof of low-income status in the form of a Surat Keterangan Tidak Mampu (SKTM)—a Certificate of Financial Hardship—issued and legalized by the government at least at the village/urban ward level, stating that the family is categorized as low-income or financially disadvantaged.”

4. Karawang Cerdas
Karawang Cerdas is a flagship program of the Karawang Regency Government designed to provide support in the form of financial assistance and educational access for students at the elementary, secondary, and higher education levels.
Benefit
Receive educational funding support for 4 years for Bachelor’s programs (S1) and 3 years for Diploma programs (D3) — until graduation — amounting to Rp6,000,000.
Regulations
There are 7 pathways to receive the Karawang Cerdas Scholarship, each with different requirements depending on the pathway chosen by the applicant. The 7 pathways are as follows:
- Requirements for the Economically Disadvantaged Family (KETM) For senior high school (SMA equivalent) and university students:
- A resident of Karawang, proven by a Family Card (KK) legalized by the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Karawang Regency.
- Karawang residents born outside the Karawang Regency must have studied in Karawang starting from elementary school (SD), junior high school (SMP), and senior high school (SMA), proven by diplomas.
- Must possess one of the following social assistance cards:
- Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH)
- Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) / KIP
- Kartu Keluarga Sejahtera (KKS)
- BPNT (Non-Cash Food Assistance)
- DTKS (Integrated Social Welfare Data)
- SIKS-NG (Next-Generation Social Welfare Information System)
- University students must have an academic transcript (KHS) for the last 2 semesters, legalized by their university if the barcode is not available or unreadable.
- University must be a public (state) university if located outside Karawang.
- Certificate of active enrollment from the school/university.
- Requirements for the Tahfiz Qur’an Pathway For senior high school (SMA equivalent) and university students:
- A resident of Karawang, proven by a Family Card (KK) legalized by the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Karawang Regency.
- Karawang residents born outside the Karawang Regency must have studied in Karawang starting from elementary school (SD), junior high school (SMP), and senior high school (SMA), proven by diplomas.
- Possess a certified Tahfiz Qur’an certificate issued by an official Tahfiz institution: Minimum 5 Juz for SMA students and Minimum 10 Juz for university students. Certificate must be legalized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Karawang.
- SMA students must study in Karawang.
- University students outside Karawang must be enrolled in a state university.
- Students are required to have a Study Result Card for at least the last 2 semesters and have it legalized by their university for those that do not have a barcode and cannot be read by the committee;
- Certificate of active enrollment from the school/university.
- Must pass the selection test conducted by the committee.
- Requirements for the ASN/TNI/POLRI Pathway For senior high school (SMA equivalent) and university students:
- For children of civil servants, TNI, or police
- Karawang residents are proven by a legalized Family Card.
- Karawang residents who were born outside the district must have attended school in Karawang from elementary school to high school.
For applicants whose parents are:
- ASN (Civil Servant): Maximum rank II/d, proven by the last ratified rank decision letter.
- TNI (Army): Maximum rank is First Lieutenant, proven by legalized documents.
- POLRI (Police): Maximum rank is Assistant Inspector of Police One, proven by legalized documents.
- Letter of recommendation from parents' immediate superior.
- High school students must study in Karawang.
- Students outside Karawang must be registered at a state university.
- University students are required to have legalized academic transcripts for the last 2 semesters.
- Active registration certificate.
4. Requirements for the Special Needs Pathway (ABK)
For high school and university students.
- A resident of Karawang, proven by a legalized Family Card.
- Students with disabilities such as visual impairments, hearing impairments, speech impairments, or autism are required to provide a medical certificate from a doctor/hospital.
- Students with physical disabilities (physically disabled) are required to provide proof in the form of photos.
- Open to students studying in or outside Karawang.
- Active registration certificate.
5. Requirements for the Non-Academic Achievement Pathway
For high school and university students.
- A resident of Karawang, proven by a legalized Family Card.
- Have a certificate/official letter of non-academic achievement in the fields of science & technology, sports, or arts—individual or team.
- Must have won 1st/2nd/3rd place in a competition in 2019–2021.
For students: at least provincial level.
- Members of the Karawang PORDA team who achieved sports achievements at West Java provincial events, proven by certificates or official documents (PORDA/PON/Provincial/National Team).
- Applies to students studying inside or outside Karawang, public or private.
- Must include photos of the competition and medal ceremony.
- University students are required to have legalized academic transcripts for the last 2 semesters.
- Active registration certificate.
6) Requirements for the Academic Achievement Pathway
For university students
- A resident of Karawang, proven by a legalized Family Card.
- Karawang residents born outside the regency must have studied in Karawang from SD–SMA.
Minimum GPA:
- 3.00 for Social Sciences and Humanities
- 2.75 for Science and Technology fields
- Must have a legalized academic transcript for the last 2 semesters.
- Active registration certificate.
7) Requirements for the Overseas University Pathway
For Karawang residents studying their Bachelor’s degree (S1) abroad
- A resident of Karawang, proven by a legalized Family Card.
- Karawang residents born outside the regency must have studied in Karawang from SD–SMA.
Minimum GPA:
- 3.00 for Social Sciences and Humanities
- 2.75 for Science and Technology
- Must have a legalized academic transcript for the last 2 semesters.
- Active registration certificate.
- Photocopy of passport showing immigration stamps proving entry to the country where the student is studying.

Beasiswa Adaro Foundation is an external scholarship program organized by the Adaro Foundation through the Yayasan Pelayanan Kasih A & A Rachmat (YPKAAR). This scholarship is intended for outstanding students with strong character as a form of commitment to supporting education in Indonesia.
Benefit
Get educational financial assistance worth IDR 2,550,000/3 months for one year
Regulations
- Indonesian students
- HorizonU advanced students
- Last Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA): S1 minimum 3.00 and D3 minimum 3.00

6. Beasiswa Benny Subianto Foundation
Benny Subianto Scholarship is an external scholarship program organized by the Benny Subianto Foundation, an organization focused on advancing education. The foundation’s mission is to provide access to quality education for academically strong students from underprivileged families through scholarship support.
Benefit
Covers 100% of education costs until graduation.
Regulations
Scholarship recipients must meet the following criteria:
- Be accepted as a new student at Horizon University Indonesia.
- Demonstrate financial need as determined by The Center for Student Development and Leadership (CSDL).
- Show strong academic achievement with no failing grades and a minimum average score of 85 in the last two semesters of Senior High School.
- Pass the selection interview.

* Parents’ Annual Tax Return for the last 2 years
